Kevin is a native of Columbus, Ohio. He graduated from Columbus Academy High School in 1972 where he excelled in football, basketball, and baseball. In fact, he is a member of the Columbus Academy Athletic Hall of Fame. Kevin was awarded a basketball scholarship to The Ohio State University where he majored in Business Administration.
In his Junior year of undergraduate studies, Kevin transferred to Denison University and graduated in 1977 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Economics. Kevin went on to attend the Thomas M. Cooley Law School located in Lansing, Michigan, where he graduated in 1980. He became a member of the Ohio Bar Association in 1982.
Kevin Kurgis has been handling Personal Injury cases for over twenty years and has represented thousands of automobile accident and personal injury victims. Also, Kevin has served as Special Counsel to the Ohio Attorney General’s Office since 1983. Additionally, Kevin is a member of The Columbus Bar Association, The Ohio State Bar Association, The Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers, and The Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
